Welcome to Addis Communications! I’m pleased to announce we have officially launched, and I could not be more excited!
I first started thinking about starting my own agency several years ago and only recently decided to “go for it” after a great deal of deliberation and introspection. Believe me, it was not a decision I made lightly! When I graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in journalism, I never envisioned that one day I’d be an entrepreneur. However, after a long and successful career of working for many great organizations, the past 12 with various PR agencies, I finally decided it was time to build something the uniquely represented me. I want to create my vision for what a strategic communications agency should be and work with clients and people who share my vision.
So what exactly does that mean? Simply put, Addis Communications is full-service strategic communications agency comprised of some awesome seasoned practitioners who want do meaningful work for clients who, like us, believe in — and understand — the power of communications in helping to move an organization forward.
We have experience working with a wide range of clients: corporations, associations and nonprofits – and we currently serve as a subcontractor to an organization that works for the federal government (we currently are not on the GSA schedule). Health and science organizations are my personal passion; however, our team brings a wealth of expertise in other industries: higher ed, energy and the environment, and financial services, to name just a few.
Like most boutique agencies, we’re nimble, which means we have the flexibility to take on smaller projects, but we can also scale based on a client’s needs.
